Sennheiser introduces HD 400 Pro Studio headphones

Sennheiser has unveiled its new HD 400 PRO Studio Headphones, which are perfect for those looking for a comfortable pair of headphones that offer precise sound for editing, mixing, and mastering audio.

The new HD 400 PRO has a very wide frequency response of 6 Hz to 38,000 Hz, helping to get the perfect mix. The headphones also feature 120-ohm transducers,  and Sennheiser promises the distortion is below 0.05%. The bass is deep and clear, thanks to a diaphragm made of a polymer blend along with driver magnets. 

The headphones will reproduce audio very accurately and will go far beyond the audible frequency range. Producers and mixers will be able to really get the full audio scope of the music they're mixing, editing, and mastering.

The Sennheiser HD 400 PRO features a 3 meter coiled cable (9.84 feet) and a 1.8 meter straight cable (about 5.9 feet), along with a 3.5 mm (1/8") jack on both cables. There is a 6.3 mm (1/4") adapter included.

As mentioned above, the design is comfortable and perfect to wear for hours while working on a mix. They're lightweight and designed to rest nicely on your ears, thanks to the velour earpads, which keep the comfort level high. There is also ventilation to keep air flowing and your ears nice and cool.

I've been talking about how well these work for those editing and mixing their new songs or film scores, but what about film or video use? The Sennheiser HD 400 PRO are ideal for mixing sound in a film project, but it's better to use speakers as many in your audience very likely won't be watching the film or video with headphones.
