Whenever he has any spare time he can be found "hucking the gnar" whitewater kayaking and adventure sports filming.
Chris has been working in the broadcast industry for over 30 years, a lot of it as an editor, camera operator, sound recordist and troubleshooter. He has an unrequited love of technology and a loathing of tomatoes.
Heath has been an independent film and video director, producer, and editor for over 25 years and has written about film and video technology since 2003. He has produced or directed several feature and short films and taught film directing and editing in both classroom and lecture settings. His short film, 'Nobody's Tomorrow' was written by comic book legend David Michelinie. In his free time, Heath enjoys running and triathlons and finished a full IRONMAN in 2019.
Ned Soltz is a veteran shooter, editor, consultant, author and industry expert. He is a frequent contributor to TVTechnology Magazine as well numerous print publications, websites podcasts. Ned was among the founders of the LA Final Cut Pro User Group (now LA Creative Pro User Group) and is currently president of the New York City user group Mopictive NYC.
Phil is a fountain of technical knowledge, which is a good thing because he's our head technical expert. With going on 20 years industry experience covering everything from camerawork to post production, and even props, there's possibly nothing he could't tell you about. And that's before we get into his rather sizeable programming knowledge.
