On the NAB booth of Litepanels for a quick demo of its latest Gemini 2x1 Hard RGBWW LED Panel and a whistle stop tour of the expanding Studio X range.
Michael Herbert is the UK Product Manager for Litepanels and he showcases Litepanel's new Gemini 2x1 Hard RGBWW LED Panel and the Studio X range, including the new 35W Studio X1. The new Gemini 2x1 comes with a dome diffuser and other diffuser panels for the desired look, allowing users to capture every detail of the LED light.
"Each of these LEDS is lensed individually," he says, "and the benefit of that is that you get a much tighter lens around each LED. And if you do that you capture every little bit of light that comes out of the LED and you can project it forward in a 20 degree beam angle."
He then demoes exactly what he mean by tilting the light upwards and illuminating the LVCC ceiling above. It has a lot of punch.
"It's the brightest 2x1 panel available," he says.
