Insta360 has announced a new edition of its GO 2 camera, with double the storage capacity of the original.
The Insta360 GO 2 won plaudits for its incredibly small size combined with excellent picture quality and extremely solid stabilisation. However, one of its limitations was its limited effective storage capacity of 29GB (available recording space).
Today the company has announced a new version of the camera that expands the total storage capacity to 64GB.
The new capacity means that users can now record for much longer without needing to offload footage to their phone or computer. However, they will still need to charge the device using its charging pod to take advantage of the extended storage capacity.
The Insta360 GO 2 64GB Edition is available now for $329.99, including the charge case/pod, Magnetic Pendant, Easy Clip and Pivot Stand mounting options, as well as a lens guard. Find out more on the Insta360 website.
