CES is upon us and Dell has announced three new monitors.
CES is here, and it hasn't wasted any time in providing us with new display announcements. Dell has kicked things off with three new UltraSharp monitors, including a new 6K model, which the company claims is the world's first of its kind that uses IPS Black technology.

With a resolution of 6144 x 3456, the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K monitor promises to offer a sharp and detailed image that could be used for a variety of different applications.
One of the standout features of this new monitor is its VesaHDR 600 technology and its IPS Black technology, which according to Dell provides 41% better black levels than traditional monitors. This would make it ideal for photo and video editing, as well as other tasks that require high levels of contrast.
In addition, this monitor also comes equipped with a built-in 4K webcam and echo cancellation microphone, making it convenient to stay connected with friends and colleagues while working remotely. The dual 14w speakers also add an extra level of convenience, allowing you to enjoy high-quality audio without the need for external speakers.
The monitor also boasts a range of connectivity options, including DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4. The latter providing up to 140w of power delivery to attached devices.
While there is currently no information on the Delta E rating for this monitor, it is clear that it has the potential to be a great choice for video editors and other professionals who need a high-quality display for their work, even if it might not be an outright solution for colour correction and grading.
New curved and multi-input monitors

In addition to the new 6K monitor, Dell has also introduced the UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor (U3423WE) and the UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Monitor (U4323QE).
Both monitors offer the ability to split the screens into multiple portions. In the case of the 34" curved model, inputs from two separate PCs can be taken, while the 43" 4K model can take four separate inputs and divides the display up accordingly.
The Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor will be available in the first half of 2023, while the curved and 4K multi-input models will be available from Jan 31st. Prices TBC.
