News round-up: New budget friendly lights from Nanlite and Zhiyun

This week's news round-up brings you new budget friendly lighting from Nanlite and Zhiyun.

Nanlite FS-300B - Budget-friendly lighting

Nanlite has announced the FS-300B, a budget-friendly bi-colour LED spot light that features an all-in-one design. The colour temp can be adjusted from 2700K to 6500K. In addition, it comes with 12 built-in effects that can be used to adjust the brightness, colour temperature and speed.

Designed as a self-contained unit means there is no separate controller or power supply. An OLED display shows the status of the light and allows you to make changes. The light comes with built-in Bluetooth, and the 2.4G module supports an optional wireless controller linked to the Nanlink APP. To keep all these features cool, light comes with an in-built fan.

The Nanlite FS-300B will retail for $399.00.

ZHIYUN FIVERAY FR100C

ZHIYUN has announced its new portable LED light stick. The FR100C produces up to 1907 lux from 1m distance. At 6200K the output is half of what it is at 4000K. This portable light is powerful for its size since it claims to draw only 100W. In addition, the light features 100 dimming steps, an ergonomic control wheel, and an inbuilt status display. FR100C weighs 920g. 

The FR100C has built-in fans and a 6-cell internal battery. This is said to last at full power for up to 40 minutes. It can be charged through a USB-C input. Price starts at $199.
