FeiyuTech unveils new SCORP and SCORP Pro handheld gimbal stabilizers for DSLRs, mirrorless cameras

FeiyuTech has launched two new gimbal stabilizers, the SCORP and SCORP Pro, for filmmakers and content creators using mirrorless cameras and DSLRs.

Both handheld gimbals feature 3-axis stabilization, but the SCORP Pro has more features and can hold cameras twice the weight as the standard SCORP (10.2 lbs. vs. 5.5 lbs.).

SCORP Pro

The FeiyuTech SCORP Pro is pretty cool, and features a detachable 3-axis gimbal stabilizer, super anti-shake technology for smooth shooting, three points of follow focus that memorable, dual handle grip/cage, a 1.3-inch OLED touch screen, detachable suspension handle (for a variety of setups), flexible axis arm, 2500MAH lithium quick rechargeable battery (up to 12 hours of use), and much more.

Thanks to its modular design, the SCORP Pro allows for different setups, including handheld, wireless remote, somatic remote, and more. Perfect for action shots, sports shooting, filmmaking, travel, and much more.

It also features an Arca Quick Release Base Plate (3/8-inch screw) that's compatible with a 1/4-inch screw, allowing for use with a variety of gear, like a slider, tripod, etc. The SCORP Pro can hold a DSLR or mirrorless camera that weighs up to 10.2 pounds.

Pricing for the SCORP Pro is $659 and really worth consideration for content creators. 

SCORP

The SCORP features 3-axis stabilization, an integrated underslung rear handle, can hold a camera weighing up to 5.5 pounds, a 1.3-inch OLED touch screen, support focus motor, sliding memory point, magic wheel, and more. You can also set it down without needing a tripod, which is ideal for vloggers and interviews. 

Priced at $429, this is an affordable gimbal stabilizer for YouTubers and content creators on the move, and would be really ideal for travel and action shots. While it supports a variety of cameras (both DSLR and mirrorless) that weigh under 5.5 lbs., FeiyuTech says it's really built for Sony's A7 series of mirrorless cameras.
