Colour grading has moved into the mainstream of video production, and we're always thirsty for advice about how get the job done convincingly - hopefully adding value to the finished work
Here's a short colour grading breakdown showing some of the basic stages. It's far from comprehensive and, ideally, you'd see one of these for every grade you see.
Some things like balance and curves are essential to any grade. Others, like desaturating the extreme highs, are chosen to enhance the feel of the material.
